Naomi Glay is a Liberian-American storyteller, advocate, and entrepreneur who founded PowerTalk in 2018—a platform dedicated to transforming silence into storytelling and pain into purpose. With a background in advocacy, business, and community building, Naomi has spent the last six years creating brave spaces where real conversations happen and healing begins.
Her journey is deeply personal. After enduring eight years of sexual abuse during her childhood, Naomi found strength in sharing her story, breaking the silence that once held her captive. This courage led her to be crowned Miss Liberia USA in 2018, where she used her platform to raise awareness for women and children affected by sexual abuse. In 2019, she represented Liberia at the Miss International Beauty Pageant in Tokyo, Japan, earning the title of Miss International Africa
Through PowerTalk, Naomi curates events that foster open and transparent discussions on topics often considered taboo. Her mission is to provide a non-judgmental atmosphere for individuals to share their testimonies, offering knowledge and resources needed for personal wellness. Naomi believes that everyone has a PowerTalk within them—a story that can motivate, inspire, and give voice to the voiceless.
Naomi’s resilience and authenticity have made her a powerful force in the wellness and empowerment spaces. She continues to show others that healing isn’t linear, conversations are sacred, and there is always strength on the other side of silence.
